ANFT: Forest Therapy Guide Program
Lead Trainer
The Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) is the most experienced global leader in Forest Therapy Guide Training, and promoting the development and practice of Forest Therapy.

Darlene is a lead trainer for ANFT, where she leads each cohort through a 6 month training program, capped with an intensive 4-day training immersion.
ANFT: Annual Trainer Gatherings
Darlene and other ANFT trainers gather annually to build community and further enrich their own Forest Therapy practices, promoting intensive personal and professional development. This experience supports ANFT in having trainers and facilitators who truly embody this practice.
The Boulder Watershed Collective is a 501(c)(3) non-profit established to address forested watershed health, resiliency, and stewardship. Their mission is to cultivate partnerships, promote community stewardship, and revitalize social and ecological systems within the Boulder Creek Watershed and beyond.

Darlene has been guiding forest immersions in partnership with the Boulder Watershed Collective since 2021.

Our local Colorado Chautauqua has such a diversity of programming for all ages! Darlene offers seasonal Forest Immersions through an active partnership with the park.
Darlene guides a Forest Immersion as part of this 4-day offering curated by Rohini Grace. Women come together from across the country to unplug, slow down and nurture themselves in Nature, in the community, and in quiet time. This Women's retreat is offered 4 times a year.

Sand Creek Regional Greenway is a Nonprofit in Denver, serving the metro area. Their mission is to promote curiosity, environmental awareness, and community health through stewardship and experiences with an urban greenspace that offers equitable access and connection to the diverse habitats, communities, places, and cities thriving along the Sand Creek Regional Greenway.
Darlene enjoys guiding forest immersions in partnership with Sand Creek Region Greenway offering people from the Denver area an opportunity to experience this practice in their own community.
